Where is God? It's been a crazy few weeks on planet Earth lately.   There are so many thoughts going on inside our minds and questions I'm sure.  I know I have had them.   I remember when the coronavirus was on the news and suggestions not to congregate,among other suggestions, then laws, there was a lot of questions going on. I can say with all my heart God didn't send this.  This isn't His judgement, but it is something that didn't catch God off guard.  But, God will turn what the enemy meant for harm for good for those that love HIM.   Romans 8:28  28  And we know that in all things God works for the good   of those who love him, who [ a ]   have been called   according to his purpose. The first thing that came to me was some fear.  I'm just being honest, but there was some fear in me.   However, the bible says that God didn't give us a spirit of fear.   2 Timothy 1:7  ...

Is Jesus your Lord? Lately, God has been drawing me to spending more time with Him.  For me, this means to get rid of all the distractions that would compete with my time with Him. Don't get me wrong, I do spend time with Him, but so does half a dozen other things, thoughts, projects, etc.    Matthew 6:6 came to mind when I first began this season of spending more quality time with Him. Matthew 6:6   Amplified Bible (AMP) 6  But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees   [what is done]   in secret will reward you. This scripture to me is  really to be done literally and not just a suggestion.  What I mean by that is shutting the door, helps me to get rid of all the distractions that would either cause me not to hear Jesus or not hear Him correctly.   Too many times, I would hear things from Him that weren't all He said, or how He sa...
