What is Your will for my life God?

Image
What is your will for my life God?   John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you[a] will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. Have you ever thought to yourself what is it Lord that you want me to do?   I’m sure most if not all of that have a relationship with Jesus Christ have asked ourself, or asked leaders “what is it God wants me to do?”    The fact is that in a healthy relationship, you should always want to please the other in that relationship. This is what love really is.   The former Christian band DC Talk had a song “love is a verb.”    Loving God is an action on our part.   It’s not necessarily what we do for Him but what we do with HIM.    God wants us to abide in Him.   In John chapter 15 and verse 7 it says, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”   Abiding in Him is a given place.   It’s a place we...

God Concerns Himself with our concerns

Image
God Concerns Himself with our concerns The other day we had misplaced my keys.  These keys were for the church, the house, the car, etc.   Needless to say they were important.  At least they were important to me.   So many times we do the "religious" thing and pray and ask God for others to be touched by Jesus.  We pray for the needs of others, our town, the US and the world.  But, we think it is selfish to pray only for ourselves.  I'm not saying we should just pray for ourselves, but even Jesus prayed for Himself and He knew how to pray.  His prayers impacted the lives of the disciples so much they asked Jesus to teach them to pray.  If you read the Lord's prayer you will see a lot of the prayers regard provision for our personal life. So, if it is important to Jesus to pray for ourselves it should be important to us.  One reason I think it's important to pray for ourselves, is because as with many prayers, the more we...

I am part of the problem-Tim Shade I've heard so many times from either side, if that really is a way to look at it (sides) "You are part of the problem". What does that really mean? What's the problem? Racism? Hatred? Ignorance? Status Quo? I am going to say I am part of the problem and that problem is sin and even bigger problem lack of God (Love). Even one side or one person or whomever says you're part of the problem, reasoning would say that side is right. But if they we re we would have no need for a savior because one side or person is the right way. But if we all would be honest not just to each other but to our own selves we honestly not one of us have it right. Hence again the need for a savior. What does scripture say? Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. ......

When was the last time you felt you messed up?   I am sure we all have places or times in our lives or even our thoughts that we feel we have failed.   When we fail, many times we think that God is upset with us or even has left us.   Of course, in our heart we know that is not true.   But the way we think about it becomes a different story.   I think so many times we trust Jesus but at the same time we try to do things in our own strength.   Just because we do the will of God does not mean it will turn out how we think it should.   In fact, I have found that it hardly ever turns out the way we think it should.   If we base the success or failure based on the outcome, we will miss the point of it every time.   Think about Jesus, the will of the Father was for Him to die on a cross.   Even the disciples, Peter being one, questioned Jesus and said that you will not die.   And then Jesus said, “get behind me Satan.”   Our j...

What does revival look like?

2Timothy 3  But know this, that  in the last days  [ a ] perilous times will come:  2  For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3  unloving,  [ b ] unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,  4  traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,  5  having a form of godliness but  denying its power. And  from such people turn away! Many of us know the above scripture and many believe it is talking about the last days.  I would say that it does as well.  But, many times we focus on all the bad in the world and equate it what's going on today in the "world."  It is, but in those verses tucked away amongst all of the thing that are going to come is the phrase "a form of godliness but denying its power.   Who is denying this power?  I'll take ...

Prophetic Word from Jeni

Image
FREEDOM PROPHECY Monday, April 13, 2020 Dear one attend to my words. When My Word abide in you and you abide in Me, you shall ask anything in My Name and it will be done. Now is the time of abiding- just you and Me together sitting, enjoying each other’s company, laughing, dancing, singing, and prophesying together. We are one even as I and the Father are one because My Spirit dwells in you and you are longing to dwell in me. I know dear one that your flesh is weak and your willpower to resist temptation has been feeble BUT believe me I am quick to forgive when your heart repents in earnestness, my heart longs to set you free indeed. I hear your words that as you throw your hands up in frustration “but Lord these sins, seem so easily to entangle me, these habits and addictions are familiar to me and even seem to bring a measure of comfort to me, at times they even make feel a level of happiness. These sins have been mine and I am familiar with them and although I want to be ...

Patience, it's now or never.

Patience.  It's one of those words that we rarely equate with joy and excitement or can even conceive that they would belong together.  This word is one of those words  we would rather not experience because it means waiting when seemingly nothing is happening.  When I think of this word I imagine long lines at the DMV and my number I took from the counter when I arrived is 84 and they just called out 13.  We all have our ideas of what patience is and what it means.  But, bare with me for a bit and hopefully God will reveal a little more revelation of what it is and how we should really embrace it.  So, what is it?  The dictionary says:  the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.  This is true and we call probably all relate to this definition.  However, I want to see what the bible says about patience.  Especially, in the times we live in today. Let's take a loo...
